OK, so I am from North Garland, about a mile from Richardson, which is in the Dallas area. I live right off of HW 190, if you're from the area. My dad is from the DC area, specifically Alexandria, VA. My mom is originally from Beaumont, TX, but she has lived all over the place. Maybe that explains why I don't really have much of a Texas accent, who knows. Anywho, I am an undergrad student at UT Austin, and I study Philosophy, Spanish, and Portuguese. Spanish and Portuguese are kinda considered one majors, so I technically only have two majors, not three. I am also interested in Italian and (gulp) business....well, business is not so much an interest, just a necessity. Still, I must say I find a lot of what they teach in business classes to be applicable to a lot of fields, so it's still good stuff anyways. Let's see, what else......oh yeah, I like to get wasted like a Catholic priest, that is, not throwing up on myself, but beyond the realm of "buzzed". Some of my favorite drinks are Absinthe, Bombay Sapphire Gin, anything you mix with gin, especially gin and juice, and other alcoholic drinks. My favorite Cider is Strongbow, my favorite overall beer is Stella Artois, a Belgian brew that I've had lots of trouble finding at various places around the Austin area. However, I have been to one place, the Ginger Man on 4th St., that sells this savory beverage. Now that I think about it, I like many beers for different reasons, but my overall fave is definitely Stella Artois. For all ye beer snobs out there, if you can point out a better beer, and convince me I should try it, I may change my mind about this. Anywho, I will post more up here later.
